This Thursday’s 414 Music Live guest is local band, Twin Brother. This modern folk/indie-pop group grew its roots from the duo Jackraasch, an outfit comprised of vocalist/guitarist Sean Raasch and drummer Tyler Nelson. From there, they decided to join forces with friend and musician, Lodewijk (“Lodi”) Broekhuizen on bass and violin to create Twin Brother. Since Twin Brother’s inception, the group has risen to become a young musical force with a highly-praised self-titled debut that the Onion’s AV Club hailed as “[taking] the basic elements of folk and graft[ing] them to the fraying body of alt-rock.”

Catch Twin Brother at the Radio Milwaukee studio this Thursday for 414 Music Live! The show is free and open to the public. Doors at 5:00, performance and on-air interview at 5:30. 220 E. Pittsburgh Avenue in Walker’s Point.

You can stream the new Twin Brother album over at Milwaukee Record.
