“50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” is a song that was originally written and performed by Paul Simon in 1975, and it appeared on his album from the same year, Still Crazy After All These Years. The song was perhaps inspired by the divorce from his first wife, Peggy Harper. In the song, a mistress gives a husband advice on how to end his marriage. It hit #1 on the Canadian Singles Chart and the US Hot 100 Singles Chart, while reaching #2 on the French Singles Chart. G. Love & Special Sauce decided to take on the song, as well.
