This week on the Seven O'Clock Sample, we are explroing the music of Bill Withers.  Bill's 1972 release STILL BILL is today's focus.  Still Bill was his second studio album. It includes two hit singles: "Lean on Me" and "Use Me", which went to number two on the same charts in fall of 1972.  The long kept secret of this Gold record, is the first track on the B-Side of the album... "Kissing My Love".

That drum break has been sampled by some of my favorite hip hop tracks.  Dr Dre's "Let Me Ride" , Redman's "Rated R", and The Jungle Brothter's "Straight Out The Jungle".
