Theresa Kopac
Theresa has lived in Milwaukee most of her life and has enjoyed watching the landscape of her hometown grow. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University and was just shy of a minor in Photography.
In fitting with her tapas approach to life, Theresa sampled a variety of careers, whims, and interests (barista at a European deli, photographer for OnMilwaukee.com, cocktail waitress, Event Coordinator/Fundraiser for a Non-Profit, hostess at a Japanese restaurant, Line Therapist for children with Autism, photographer/sales for Artasia Gallery…) until arriving at RadioMilwaukee where she has remained fully satisfied. She achieved her aspirations of working in a creative environment with caring, ambitious, community-minded people when she began working at RadioMilwaukee in the fall of 2004. Her lifelong love and appreciation of music was an added bonus. She works with great pleasure at the side of the incomparable Genyne Edwards as the two comprise RadioMilwaukee’s Community Department. The Department works at the behest of Milwaukee’s diverse, vibrant communities through continuous dialogue and acting as a conduit. Theresa’s role utilizes her sense of compassion and fulfills her desire to bring people to common ground.
