Milwaukee County offices, including the Courthouse and Safety Building, will be closed today due to the dangerous weather. Those who have court matters scheduled for today should report at the same time Wednesday, unless they're notified about rescheduling a hearing for a different time.

A group of bipartisan lawmakers on Monday agreed to a deal on a farm bill that would end direct subsidies to farms in favor of crop insurance. The deal could trim as much as $90 a month from food stamps for 850,000 recipients. The bill would last five years and needs to pass both chambers and then be signed by the president, going into effect before the spring planting season.

The AMSOIL Arenacross series returns to the Brew City for the first time in over a decade with dirt bike racing at the U.S. Cellular Arena this weekend. For a schedule of events, including a meet-and-greet with racers, can be found here.

President Barak Obama will deliver his State of the Union address tonight, laying out his agenda for year six of his presidency. Obama failed to get any of his top 2013 State of the Union priorities through Congress, as they ignored his calls for a new jobs program, new gun controls and for sweeping immigration reform.
