All Saints' Cathedral at 818 E Juneau Ave in Milwaukee is hosting its annual fundraiser to feed the poor Friday August 2nd through Tuesday Aug 6th. For more than 30 years, the Great Hunger Book Sale has been used to raise money to fight hunger both at home and around the country. There will be 40,000 items for sale, including books, recorded music and movies.

Palermo's Pizza, the scene of a yearlong worker dispute, agrees to rehire 8 workers with back pay and asked the National Labor Relations Board to set a date for a union election. The company also agreed it will post signs confirming that it's committed to following all relevant labor laws.

Four Milwaukee Public School teachers have been named STAR Discovery Educators by Discovery Education. Teachers Sally Ferguson, Amy Baumgart, Charlene Drum and Leden Wood were all recognized for their efforts in using digital media and technology to enhance their students' learning experiences.

Milwaukee World Festival and Milwaukee Jazz Vision will host a free jazz event Sunday at Henry Maier Festival Park. Visions on the Lake runs from 2-6pm at the Johnson Controls World Sound Stage on the Summerfest grounds. Choir Fight, We Six and the Kevin Hayden Trio are scheduled to perform.  Free, limited parking is available in Lot G on Chicago Street and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
