First Lady Michelle Obama and actress Eva Longoria are scheduled to visit Watertown High School today to help launch a new effort called Let's Move! This new program is aimed at encouraging Americans to drink more water. According to a release from the White House, more than 40% of Americans drink less than half of the daily-recommended water intake.
As reported by the MBJ: The Shops of Grand Avenue is again offering short-term retail leases for the holiday season. The downtown mall's "Holiday Leasing Program" will offer three- month leases on the western side of the building known as the New Arcade. Leases are available for October through December or November through January.
The Milwaukee Bucks are seeking approval from NBA executives for a plan that would put the names of season-ticket holders on the floor of the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Members of the MVP Loyalty Program would have their names near the half-court line, adding an additional benefit to their year-round membership. The cost would be included in the price of season tickets.
The Agriculture Department is cracking down on dog breeders who sell puppies over the Internet with new regulations that will force them to apply for federal licenses. Dog owners that breed more than four females and sell the puppies online, by mail or over the phone will be subjected to the same laws faced by wholesale animal breeders.
