Sweet Water Organics, an aquaponics facility raising fish and vegetables in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood has closed its doors. Ald. Tony Zielinski said a restaurateur and higher education group are interested in taking over the Sweet Water building. They would continue to grow fish and crops there and would also have cooking classes and a restaurant.

Cory Chisel, Fox Valley native singer/songwriter, is organizing the inaugural Mile of Music festival in Appleton this summer. Set for Aug 8-11th, the festival will feature live music from more than 80 acts hosted in a variety of venues and will conclude with two headlining performances at Lawrence University.

The Milwaukee Armed Services Committee  partnered up with downtown local restaurants this week, offering discounts to veterans during Milwaukee Armed Forces Week. A list of participants and the discounts found on Facebook.

Milwaukee County Parks begin their last free lifeguard training course before summer today at Pulaski Pool from 7 to 9pm. Info at www.countyparks.com.

In Entertainment News, Seth Meyers is moving from his "Weekend Update" desk on Saturday Night Live to replace Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night". Both "Late Night" and the "Tonight" shows will originate from New York's Rockefeller Center.
