Representatives from Journal Broadcast Group and Time Warner Cable met in an effort to resolve the retransmission dispute. For the past 44 days, WTMJ 4 has been blocked for Time Warner Cable subscribers in the market. The meetings did not result in an agreement.

SURG Restaurant Group announced today that it is ending its relationship with suspended Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun. Ryan Braun's Graffito on Water will remain open until the end of 2013. Braun's name will be removed from the restaurant 8-12 MVP Bar & Grill in Brookfield along with its planned sister location at Bayshore Town Center will also be renamed.

Gov. Scott Walker will visit Tokyo next week for a three-day Midwest U.S. - Japan Association Conference to help build trade ties between Wisconsin and Japan. Walker says Japan is our fifth-largest export destination, with exports totaling $858 million in 2012. Japan is the top purchaser of WI products in the medial and scientific instruments category.
