The guy who founded, named and led The Rolling Stones has a birthday today

Brian Jones did in fact start, staff, name, lead and book the Rolling Stones in the early years. He was a talented instrumentalist who was a key figure in the early days of the band, but as the 1960's waned, his issue with drugs and drink chipped away at his leadership of the band, eventually leading to his ouster in June of 1969. He died less than a month after his departure, drowning in his swimming pool on July 3rd, 1969 at the age of 27.
