“Good Morning, Milwaukee” Photo Exhibition Opening Night
200 photos of places around Milwaukee — some of them buildings that no longer exist. Milwaukeean Blyth Renate Meier will feature her photo collection at the Portrait Society Gallery. Opening night is this Thursday. Her work is a compelling view of Milwaukee that depicts an established city. These photos preserve the ancient corners of the place we call home. Get some culture! Go to the show. It’s a chance to see Milwaukee from a perspective you wouldn’t otherwise get to witness.
Thursday, Sept 9, 6pm to 9pm – @ Portrait Society Gallery (207 E. Buffalo Street, Set 526)

We’re opening another front in the war to uplift Black folks here in Milwaukee.” Sankofa MKE Festival is in its inaugural year. It will feature tons of diverse Milwaukee music. Get your tickets here.
