Other winners from the evening include Donald Glover, who took home two awards for his show Atlanta.

Nielson released their much-anticipated 2016 year-end report last week, showcasing trends from sales and streaming to social media and overall consumer engagement in the music industry. The report shows music industry’s growth of 3% over the year and a 76% increase in on-demand audio streams. With downloads on the decline, the report also confirmed in 2016 the US streamed about 1.2 billion songs per day, meaning that the amount of streaming songs per day was more than the years worth of downloads.
