I love a feel-good music story and this one's pretty great. Fabio Zaffagnini really wanted The Foo Fighters to play in Cesena, Italy. He took an unorthodox approach to make sure his goal was achieved. He assembled 1,000 musicians in a field in Cesena and had all 1000 play the Foo's "Learn To Fly."
He had the event filmed and posted to video and reached out to Mr. Grohl. Here is what that looked/sounded like.
The Foo's orginal video for "Learn to Fly."
Dave Grohl was rather touched by the event and agreed — in Italian, no less — to play Cesena, soon.
