Please join us for our first annual Coffee House Rock! music festival on July 20, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. The days festivities are open to the public and free of charge. Donations to support local music and art programs will be accepted.
The day begins with morning youth music education workshops featuring The Figureheads from Milwaukee, WI, who produce and perform positive hip-hop music tailored to pre-k, elementary, middle and high-school audiences. Other workshops include an introduction to harmonica from Milwaukee blues harmonica virtuoso John Stano and an instrument “test drive” that will introduce kids to all the different sounds that come together to create music.
The afternoon music performances begin at 2 p.m. and will highlight Burlington’s local talent, with performances by 1703, Mad Bark, and Terry Murphy & Friends. The evening featured performances on our outdoor stage open with Nashville band Los Colognes (5 p.m.). Evening co-headliners are Rayland Baxter (6 p.m.) and Appleton, WI native Cory Chisel and The Wandering Sons (8 p.m.).
