Listen: Last week, I went down to Cooper Elementary School on the South Side to catch a performance of the Florentine Opera Company's adaptation of the Billy Goats Gruff. Look for that piece in the near future, but in the meantime, enjoy these two pieces about the creativity of children recorded with the wonderful folks from the Florentine.
Elizabeth Gardner, Director of Education and Outreach at the Florentine Opera Company, shares her 19 month-year-old son's penchant for remixing Elmo (she does a darn good recreation of his rap too):
