Listen: On Day 46 of Meet The Need (and Christmas Eve!) we spend the day with the Evangelical Children and Family Agency or ECFA. They provide a range of services, including adoption, pregnancy counseling and care, family counseling, and child welfare services including foster care and family preservation (read more about them on their website). Linda Oberbrunner, Wisconsin District Director of the ECFA, brings us inside their work:
-In this first piece, Linda outlines how they work with young women facing unplanned pregnancies:
-Linda shares the story of two sisters who came to the ECFA, a decision that circuitously led them to becoming business women:
-With Christmas coming tomorrow, many folks are reflecting on the story of Christmas. And while the story itself may not change from year to year, perhaps you can gain a new insight -- that's exactly what happened for during my interview with Linda when she brought up the relationship Mary might have had with her community:
-Want to get involved with the ECFA? You can get involved in their resale shop:
This year, we ask you to adopt one or two organizations that connect with you. Want to get involved with the Evangelical Children and Family Agency? Donate, volunteer, or check out their work yourself. And you can start with their website.
