Listen: Businesses, community centers, and other neighborhood mainstays typically have front doors, but answering the question "who lives in a neighborhood?" is not always so straightforward. In a community like East Tosa, a neighborhood of families of houses, do I just ask if I can come in? Sit down at the dining room table and ask for a life story? Why not? That was more or less how I ended up sitting down with Kelsey and Kasango Kalambula (forgive the likely spelling errors), asking them for the story of how they came to East Tosa: [audio=1] Interested in learning more about East Tosa? The best place to start is their neighborhood website. And perhaps even better, get out to the neighborhood and check it out yourself!
