It’s great that the City of Milwaukee has a bike share program and bike lanes, but not everyone can ride a traditional bicycle. Adaptive bikes can help more people ride.

Last year, Wauwatosa was the first in Wisconsin to implement an adaptive bike program. Milwaukee wants to be next.

Based on the feedback from this survey, the DPW will further develop the Pilot Adaptive Bike Program to best meet the needs of all Milwaukee cyclists.

They want to hear from you so you can tell them barriers to cycling that you or others may encounter, the type(s) of cycles that would work best and to determine what kind of user experience you would want when accessing these bikes in the future.
