Jose Gonzalez's group Junip recently released an EP entitled Walking Lightly, and is currently on a short tour. The EP features remixes from from electronic producer John Roberts, Tobacco, To Rococo Rot, and Maps.  The group also made time to contribute a song to one of my favorite compilation series called Brazilian Beats.

For the latest volume of Brazilian Beats (volume 7), Junip took on the legendary artist Jorge Ben and his track ”Oba, Lá Vem Ela.” Jorge Ben is best known for fusing samba, funk, rock and bossa nova. Take a listen to Junip's version below and stream the entire Brazilian Beats Volume 7 here.
