Lollapalooza 2013: Alison's Day 3 Preveiw

Day three already? But I just got here!

I'm a little sunburnt, a little sore and my mountains of money are now meager ant hills, but none of that will stop me from make my last day count.

I'm thinking The Orwell's at 1 p.m., right over to Jake Bugg at 1:45 p.m. I sense some downtime before Alt J at 5:00 p.m., and I'm always in the market for a new music experience, so this might be the perfect time to do some stage hopping. I'm sure I will find something that tickles my fancy, but if my exploring fails miserably, which I'm sure it won't, I'll head on over to Perry's (the electronic stage) for some of Lollapalooza's purest dancing.

After Alt J I''ll head over to Half Moon Run. I haven't heard much of their work, but I have a feeling this will be a great live show if the energy is right.

As for the closing act, I'm torn. I do love me some Cat Power, but that runs right through the middle of The Cure. In the journalism world there is a tool called the Potter Box. It's a four-part evaluation to help reporters make tough ethical decisions. In the festival world there is a tool I just made up to help me decide who to see.

I guess we will have to see what I decide.

In closing, today is dedicated to this thing for haunting my dreams last night.
