This week on the Seven O'clock Sample, Dori and I are revisiting our favorite 1990's Alternative Rock acts, and how they utilized samples.

You don't immediately think of samplers when you think of Madison natives Garbage.  But their debut hit, "Stupid Girl" used a classic Clash sample.

 

 

From the classic album LONDON CALLING, the Clash's Train In Vain was sampled by Butch Vig and Garbage for the song "Stupid Girl"
