The James Brown Samples!

There are SO many examples of the use of James Brown in Hip Hop, that I could maybe even do this for an entire year! From day one, Hip Hop culture has had a deep love affair with James. His music can be directly linked to Hip Hop dance, culture and music even before the first rap records were recorded.

Today I decided to take a look at how the fellas in Public Enemy used some of the godfather's music. PE had no shortage of James Brown samples, so I randomly plucked this one out...
