The Milwaukee Artists Resource Network, or MARN, is reorganizing and has eliminated the position of executive director. Under the direction of Melissa Musante, MARN had greatly expanded it's programming, established a bricks-and-mortar venue and launched database of artists called Art in Milwaukee. The eight members of the board will take a more active role in running the organization.

In an effort to address the gas shortage brought on by Superstorm Sandy and this week's nor-easter, leaders in New York City and Long Island announced gas rationing will begin today. New Jersey put similar rules into effect last week in 12 counties.

The Mitchell Interchange will re-open today.  Crews completed the $300 million re-construction project ahead of schedule and on budget. In the last four years, three new tunnels, 51 bridges and 17 noise walls have been constructed.

Milwaukee's 4th Annual Wine & Dine takes over the Delta Center on Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 5pm. Featured this year, Froedtert's Firehouse/EMS Chili Cook-Off. More information found on our facebook page.
