Milwaukee Public Schools are looking to hire 700 new employees, including teachers and principals as they approach the end of a three-year wave of employee retirement.  Over the next few months, MPS will hold a series of job fairs to fill these positions. The first of these job fairs will be held tonight from 4-6pm at Manitoba School, focusing on Special Education jobs. 

Hasbro Gaming will reveal a new token this morning for their Monopoly Game, which is available in 111 countries and in 43 languages. A spokesperson said "The new piece will be more representative of today's Monopoly players." Either the boot, iron or wheelbarrow will be replaced with a diamond ring, guitar, toy robot, cat or helicopter. The new piece will be unveiled this morning on the "Today Show".

An 8.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific on Wednesday, triggering a tsunami that killed five people. The waves hit the western side of Santa Cruz island, severely damaging 70-80 homes.

Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport is planning a $60 million makeover starting this summer, with $41 million used to fix up it's aging baggage claim area. Some parts of the baggage claim area date back to 1955, and parts needed to fix the baggage claim carousels are so old, they aren't available anymore.
