President Obama made history today by becoming the first U.S. president to visit Burma. After five decades of military rule, Burma started democratic and economic reforms in early 2011, releasing hundreds of political prisoners.

From the OnMilwaukee.com blogger Molly Snyder: It's been reported that Outpost Natural Foods Co-op will expand into Mequon at the northeast corner of Mequon and Wauwatosa roads. If approved, construction would begin in 2013 on a new green, sustainable building with a target opening date in late spring of 2014.

Governor Scott Walker rejected a major provision of President Obama's healthcare reform law that calls for Wisconsin to set up online health insurance markets where consumers can purchase private coverage at federally subsidized rates.

As reported in the Milwaukee Business Journal...there's good news for meat lovers: Brazillian steakhouse Rodizio Grill will open in the old Sabor space. The chain, which started in Colorado with family recepies from their hometown in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is due to open their first Milwaukee location in early December.
