President Barak Obama officially began his second term as the 44th president yesterday, reciting the 35-word oath of office in the Blue Room of the White House. Today, Obama gives his inaugural address outside the U.S. Capitol. More than half a million viewers are expected to watch live from the Mall.

Alterra Coffee Roasters is planning its first Third Ward location in the former Third Ward Cafe, which closed earlier this month on St Paul Avenue. The cafe, which will be their smallest, is set to open mid-summer.

600 community and state leaders are expected to gather today at the 16th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast at the Delta Center. Gov. Scott Walker will provide welcome remarks. In Music news, Dave Grohl debuts a Supergroup at his "Sound City" Sundance Premiere. The group consisting of 17 musicians played for three-plus hours, includied members of Rage Against the Machine, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, Cheap Trick, Rick Springfield, John Fogerty and Stevie Nicks. Grohl provided the crowd with a live history of the Sound City Studios as he related it to his own musical influences growing up. He is also the director of this new documentary.
