For the second year in a row, someone with Wisconsin ties won The Amazing Race. Josh Kilmer-Purcel from Oconomowoc and his partner, Branet Ridge, won the $1million prize. Last year a couple from Madison took home the first place prize.

As reported by WUWM, fans of the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons may soon have a museum dedicated to their favorite fantasy game. Jim and Debbie Hunton's plan to open the museum in 2014 is contingent on raising $150,000 through an Indiegogo campaign. Supporters of this campaign will help decide the location of the museum: Orlando, Indianapolis or Lake Geneva...where the game was started.

Republican lawmakers are considering changing Milwaukee residency laws. This could change a lot in the city for state employees and new MPS hires.  Now, new MPS hires have to live within the city for the first year of their job. On Thursday, they will decide if they want to extend the timeline from 1 to 3 years Tom Barrett plans to challenge any plan to change the law that has been intact since 1930.

Good news for people traveling by car this holiday season. Gas prices in the city have been dropping and are the lowest in the country the past two months. The average price is $3.17 and should stay that way through the holidays, with national prices dropping as well.
