The paradox that encapsulates Alexi Murdoch is that his quietly intimate music has made the Scottish singer-songwriter an international powerhouse. His single "Orange Sky," from his debut EP, was featured inGarden State and on television shows like The O.C. and Dawson's Creek.
Following his debut full-length, Murdoch spent most of his time on the road instead of the recording studio. Recorded mostly during one night in Vancounver while on his headlining tour of North America, Towards the Sun was released on Murdoch's label Zero Summer. (link)
