Yep. Apparently, someone out there thinks that I am interesting enough to be interviewed.  Normally, I not the type to toot my own horn, but you  know what it feels kind of good.  Guess who interviewed me and where they are from? Pakistan.  Yep. Pakistan.  How did this happen? Well I posted something about the whole Jeremiah Wright controversy, and a Ghazala Khan from the Pakistani Spectator wrote this comment:

Hello Dear and Respected,

I hope you are fine and carrying on the great work you have been doing for the Internet surfers. I am Ghazala Khan from The Pakistani Spectator (TPS), We at TPS throw a candid look on everything happening in and for Pakistan in the world. We are trying to contribute our humble share in the webosphere. Our aim is to foster peace, progress and harmony with passion.

We at TPS are carrying out a new series of interviews with the notable passionate bloggers, writers, and webmasters. In that regard, we would like to interview you, if you don’t mind. Please send us your approval for your interview at my email address “ghazala.khi at gmail.com”, so that I could send you the Interview questions. We would be extremely grateful.

So she sent over some questions, and I answered them. You can check out the interview here.

Here is an excerpt:

I’m wondering what some of your memorable experiences are with blogging?

I wrote an article on a new artist by the name of Wale out of Washington DC and how he is reshaping the music industry. I was so impressed on how he was marketing his music without a major record label. I decided to write a post on how the music industry can learn from an unsigned artist.  Then with in a few days, I received a quite a bit of comments including a comment from Wale’s manager.  His manager posted my blog on his MySpace page.  Now Wale has a major label deal with Interscope and his record is being produced by Mark Ronson who is Grammy winning producer who also produced Amy Winehouse’s album.

I just want to thank the Pakistani Spectator for doing a real cool thing reaching out to different bloggers from all over the world. Check out the other interviews here.
