Listen: I was fortunate enough to take another trip to the Kenilworth Complex, into UWM's Peck School of the Arts. In terms of activity that building is like a beehive, but instead of bees doing buzzy work there are artists working on amazing projects. Like an art-piary? Api-arty? (Sorry.)
This time, I was fortunate enough to speak with Fo Wilson, a professor at UWM and a furniture artist with an amazing story. Have a listen:
In addition to her background, Fo Wilson's art is quite cool. You can learn more about what she does and see bits of her art here, but you should also keep your eyes open for her exhibits -- she exhibits around the country, so when she has a show in Milwaukee, it's a must see.
