Not To Be Outdone By Daft Punk, Director David Lynch Drops An Electro-Pop Track

With all the hype about the French duo Daft Punk getting in the act of making soundtracks and appearing in the forthcoming Tron:Legacy, pioneer director David Lynch doesn't want to be left out. Lynch dropped an electo-pop tune called "Good Day Today."  It will be part of a two track release due out January 31, 2011 on deluxe vinyl and CD.  The other track is the b-side "I Know" and is quite the sonic opposite of "Good Day Today." The artwork is designed by legendary artist Vaughn Oliver (best known for creating album artwork for The Pixies). Most recently, Lynch worked on with Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse for the album "The Dark Night Of The Soul." Check out the tracks below. (via Wired)
