Based on his book of the same title, Dr. Warren J. Blumenfeld will discuss how homophobia not only oppresses lesbians, gay males, bisexuals and transgender people, but also hurts heterosexuals on many levels. With a nonthreatening, nonjudgmental approach to issues surrounding sexual identity and homophobia, Blumenfeld will explore the cost of homophobia in social policy, family relationships, religious institutions and many other aspects of our lives.
