Next Door is a Milwaukee-based non-profit focused on children and their education. They believe the key to strengthening our community begins with building strong families.
Next Door offers a variety of programs that engage families, from pre-natal to pre-school. They even have programs specifically designed to give men the tools to become even better fathers.
One of these programs is the federally funded Early Head Start. With two program options: home based and center based, Early Head Start works with pregnant moms and children up to the age of three. They educate families about the process of pregnancy, like what to expect when you are expecting. They also help families with other needs, like how to get proper dental care or find affordable housing.
This Saturday, Next Door hosts their 25th Annual Walk for Children. This fundraiser brings together more than 1000 friends from throughout greater Milwaukee to raise funds and awareness for Next Door's programs. Details found here.
