The new Fuel Cafe in Walker's Point
The new Fuel Cafe in Walker's Point recently opened and we talked about the decor and the new menu. The new cafe is much different and bigger than the one in Riverwest. Located at 644 S. 5th St, the new two-story cafe is really two spaces - the cafe & the restaurant with full bar.
As far as the menu, there are only a couple of items that are the same at both locations. You can still get the 'Toasted Cheesy Tomato" and the "Buttafuoco," which is the same as the former but spicier. Some new items on the menu include Nashville hot wings, chicken and biscuit, smoked trout deviled eggs, a Korean bowl, and more.

WMSE's Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser
This Sunday, the 15th annual WMSE's Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser. Taking place at the MSOE Kern Center, you can find over 50 Milwaukee restaurants, cafes and more competing for the title of Milwaukee's best chili.
Awards are given to winners in five different categories: best meat, best vegetarian, most unique chili, best heat, and best vendor display/presentation.
You can get tickets here. Advance tickets are $12 and include 4 chili samples. Bring two or more non-perishable food items and donated them to the Hunger Task Force and you’ll receive two additional sample tickets.
Taste & Toast
Downtown Milwaukee's Taste & Toast event will take place from March 6 - 10. Over 20 downtown restaurants, and bars will offer specially priced small plated from 4pm - 7pm. You can check out the restaurants and their menus here.
