Wisconsin finally has a podcast dedicated to cheese

Cheese

Each Friday at 8 am on 88Nine, Milwaukee Magazine’s dining critic, Ann Christenson, and 88Nine foodie Tarik Moody discuss Milwaukee’s culinary and restaurant culture.

On this week’s show, we talked about a new Wisconsin podcast that is all about cheese. We also talked about the Wisconsin Cheese Camp, a Shorewood gourmet popcorn shop opening a new location in Glendale, and a new breakfast & lunch spot in Bay View.

If you are a chef or a restaurant and have an announcement or an event, please send any information or press release to thisbites@radiomilwaukee.org.

Cheese Podcast

Wisconsin finally has a podcast dedicated to cheese called "Cheese Underground Radio." The podcast is run by the founder of Wisconsin Cheese Originals, Jeanne Carpenter.  She travels all over Wisconsin to find stories about cheese, cheesemakers, and cheese enthusiasts.

Wisconsin Cheese Originals also host a few events including the upcoming Wisconsin Cheese Camp, which will be held this November in Madison. Next year in April, they will bring Cheesetopia to the Grain Exchange.
