Bobblehead exhibit honors heroes

They're not terribly complex or technical, but they enshrine the world's most influential people and our favorite fictional characters -- bobbleheads.

And they're the subject of a new art exhbit -- Bobbleheads: Real and Fantastical Heroism -- on view now at Redline Milwaukee.

Thousands of bobbleheads are on display in the public exhibit, from sports figures to political leaders, and countless other categories.  The collection is on loan from the planned National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, and organizers say they hope Milwaukee will one day be home to a permanent bobblehead display.

The exhibit is open now until April 30.  Visitors are welcome Thursdays 10 am-7 pm and Fridays and Saturdays 10 am-3pm. Admission is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested.
