The mysterious project from Danger Mouse and James Mercer of The Shins have finally revealed itself in the form of a new website and free single (well at least for a limited time). The project is called Broken Bells, and I briefly mentioned it about a week ago. The song has folky soulful thing going for itself. Definitely worth checking out! The album will be released on Columbia on March 9th, 2010. It will have 10 tracks with all the instruments performed by Danger Mouse (aka Brian Burton), except for string arrangements handled by composer Daniele Luppi.
