That sounds like some kind of sales pitch or some line from an informercial. Well it isn't. It was happens when young aspiring talented filmmaker does something out of love and passion. Fede Alvarez is the filmmaker out of Uruguay created an amazing little film short on youtube for a mere $300. He posted the video barely over a month ago and has gotten over 4 million views. Apparently someone in Hollywood took notice and Alvarez was getting offers left and right. He finally accepted an offer from Ghost House pictures for $30 million. That is better than any stock investment you could ever have imagined.
The movie will be sponsored by director Sam Raimi, whose credits include the Spiderman and Evil Dead films. Fede Alvarez's short film "Ataque de Panico!" (Panic Attack!) featured giant robots invading and destroying Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. (BBC)
