414 Music Preview | Fresh Cut Collective

This Friday Tarik will be hosting 414 Music featuring Fresh Cut Collective. A self-described "hip-hop band," FCC blends hip-hop lyrics with more musicality than most groups. A full band including keyboards, synths, violin, bass, guitar and drums help to flesh out the lyrical flow of Adebisi Agoro in a style as diverse as their fan base.FCC started working together during the summer of 2008 when lyricist Adebisi Agoro and keyboardist Kiran Vedula met by chance at a show and both craving a "new, and more exciting direction to take their music," decided to start working together. The rest of the band quickly fell into place and they plan to release their first full length album this May.FCC's next show is at Mad Planet on March 10th.Tarik will also be doing a DJ set before the FCC show with his hometown headliners, The Constellations.Look for the podcast of the in-studio performance next week.LISTEN: Fresh Cut Collective - Loveless
