Fresh Cut Collective were in the studio last Friday performing and talking with Tarik about how they came together as a band and how they approach making music. Keyboardist Kiran Vedula:
We call it hip-hop, but a lot of us actually met in music school and we come from a lot of different backgrounds muscially, so we try to bring as much to the table as possible and then structure the songs like a hip-hop song would be structured. But with all the versatility of the instruments we have we're able to do a lot more.
