Say Goodbye to the Rain

It's a rainy week here in Milwaukee, so it seemed fitting to have a Rain themed sample today. Eariler this week we explored a Gladys Knight and the Pips sample used by Lauren Hill. So today, I've decided to continue with the Pips, and I found a song that fits today's weather.In 1973, GN and the Pips released their last project on Motown Records. NEITHER ONE OF US, was a great album and it's title track single reached #2 on the Billboard top 100 in '73.Year later, Angie Stone teamed up with producers Gordon Chambers and Jim Weatherly to produce her first single, NO MORE RAIN (IN THIS CLOUD).
