Just got this extra tasty slice of soul from west-coast funk journeymen Ozomatli. From their new album Fire Away, a "45," if you will, and I hope that you do check it. While the retro soul scene has exploded in terms of talent and popularity, these cats have been at this racket for years, bringing the live element back to hip hop and hipping soul songs with a modern beat sensibility since the mid-nineties.
