Listen: While I was poking around Neighborhood Lift Up Day in Walnut Way, I captured a lot of energized and dedicated folks. For some, they'd been planting and tending for over ten years, and for others, this was their first day making contact with the Walnut Way Conservation Corp. Amongst these voices, there was one that really left a lasting impression on me.
Larry Adams has been with the Walnut Way Conservation Corp since the beginning. He's seen many days of planting before that Lift Up day, and he'll see many in the future, but during this particular day, I was fortunate enough to tap into his amazing experiences with Walnut Way:
He really does have a special way with words. And I cannot insist enough -- Walnut Way is in Milwaukee, and it's probably not too far from where you call home. Go out and visit that neighborhood and see firsthand what's growing.
