Last year in Atlanta, I caught the Afro Punk tour, which was headlined by Saul Williams. Also performing that evening's show, was a trio that I have been following for sometime now. The name of that trio is Earl Greyhound, which consists of Matt Whyte (vocals, guitar), Kamara Thomas (bass, keyboards, vocals) and Ricc Sheridan (drums). Their original drummer Christopher Bear left to join Grizzly Bear right after the group recorded their first release "Soft Targets". Earl Greyhound has a very classic sound with out sounding dated. Some of you might have seen them open up for OK Go a few weeks ago in Milwaukee. They recently released their sophmore release "Suspicious Package". Below is the video for the song "Shotgun", which can be found on the album.
