Listen: Businesses, community centers, and other neighborhood mainstays typically have front doors, but answering the question "who lives in a neighborhood?" is not always so straightforward. In a community like East Tosa, a neighborhood of families of houses, do I just ask if I can come in? Sit down at the dining room table and ask for a life story? Why not?
