Listen: As we heard earlier in the campaign at North Division High School, biking is near and dear to my heart. And because we’re currently in our weeklong focus on Healthy Lifestyles, biking returns for an encore performance – but from a fresh angle.
This go around, I stopped by Vieau School in Walker’s Point to check out Safe Routes to School, a collaboration between the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin and the Menomonee Valley Partners. With the increasing investment in both the valley and the Hank Aaron State Trail, this is a wonderful collaboration that aims to connect youth with the great resources in their own neighborhood: see podcast below.
