I would say Aloe Blacc has released one of the best records of 2010. His album " Good Things" dropped last Tuesday, and it features the killer track "I Need A Dollar", which can be heard on 88Nine RadioMilwaukee. On the album, Aloe does an amazing cover of Velvet Underground's Femme Fatale. They just released the video for it last week.
Then a few weeks ago Aloe teamed up with classical composer Miguel Atwood- Ferguson to a tribute song to the late, great Guru formerly of Gang Starr entitled "Deliver The Word". Check out the video below. It is simply beautiful.
