If you were to give a band an award for biggest buzz band of 2010, you would have to give it to the duo Sleigh Bells. The two recently played a sold-out show at Mad Planet. The first thing that comes to mind when I heard their album was why can't hip hop beats sound like this. Sleigh Bells beats are like a splash of ice cold water to the face and huge bite from a habanero pepper. To be honest, I'm surprised that a rapper hasn't created a mixtape based on their music yet. Just take a look and listen to their latest video for their song "Riot Rhythm" and tell me those beats wouldn't make a great hip hop song!
