Be Heard : Agape Community Center's SING FOR YOUR SUPPER CD

Celebrating its fourth year with a mission to address the issue of hunger on the northwest side of Milwaukee, the 2010 “Sing For Your Supper” CD is now available. “

Sing For Your Supper” is a compilation of local choral groups and artists singing holiday music. All proceeds from the sale of the CD will benefit the Agape Community Center’s Meal Program.

The 2010 “Sing For Your Supper” CD features local artists Grace Weber and Marc Cohen. Local choral groups on this year’s CD include Marquette University, Catholic Memorial High School, Divine Savior High School, Milwaukee Police Department, Marquette University High School, St. Dominic and St. John Vianney Strings, St. Thomas More High School, Pius XI High School, and Cardinal Stritch University.

This morning we had Al Luzi, Director of Communications for the Agape Center, on the AM Drive to tell us all about the 4th edition of this unique music compilations.

Agape Community Center was created in 1986 through the financial support and thoughtful vision of the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother. Agape is the only comprehensive social service agency in our target area, on the northwest side of Milwaukee.
