If the answer is yes, then you should think about applying to the Red Bull Music Academy. What is the Red Bull Music Academy you ask?
For the past 12 years, the Red Bull Music Academy has been traveling the world, to give music makers of all stripes a whopping dose of creative inspiration: two weeks of recording sessions, workshops, lectures by musical luminaries, and unforgettable late night jams.
This year the academy will be held in Tokyo, Japan. All you have to do to get a chance to go to Tokyo is to apply, which is free. If you are curious what kind of music students produce while at the academy, just check out and download the compilation which was made during the last academy in London, UK. The deadline to get your application in to Red Bull is April 4th, 2011. The first workshop will be October 23 and the seconded workshop will be in November 2011.
